Pemilik grup usaha Trans Corp tersebut hingga kini hanya dikaruniai dua anak, si bungsu bernama Rahmat Dwiputra Tanjung.
Pada usianya yang masih remaja, Putri menjadi perempuan muda pengusaha.
Jika ayahnya mengelola usaha media massa, bank, properti, dan tambang, lain hanya dengan Putri yang mengelola usaha event organizer atau EO bernama CreativePreneur Event Creator bersama dengan teman sebayanya sejak 5 atau 6 tahun lalu.
Dia menjadi pemilik sekaligus bos EO tersebut.
Awal kemunculannya selalu dikait-kaitkan dengan nama besar sang ayah yang sempat menjabat Menteri Koordinator Perekonomian.
Namun, semakin lama, dia membuktikan kepada orang lain jika kesuksesannya sebagai pengusaha EO tak cuma sekadar numpang nama.
Titik balik kesuksesannya adalah saat Putri berhasil menyelenggarakan acara bertajuk "Mandiri Creativepreneur Corner 2014".
Sambil mengelola EO, Putri juga sedang menimba ilmu pada Jurusan Multimedia Communication, Academy of Art University, San Francisco, Amerika Serikat.
Putri sering pergi pulang Jakarta - San Francisco karena dia masih aktif mengadakan berbagai event meski tengah sibuk kuliah.
Saat ini, kekasih Gofar Hilman tersebut juga membuat kampanye sosial #MudaBergerak yang didukung Traveloka untuk menginspirasi anak-anak muda agar berbuat hal positif bagi kemajuan lingkungan sekitar.
Dalam memulai kampanye ini, Putri membuat sebuah film pendek berjudul ‘Kinetik’ yang disutradarai dirinya sendiri.
