Di momen Hari Raya Idul Adha 2019 ini, Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyumbang seekor sapi kurban jenis Peranakan Ongole (PO) di Masjid Al Akbar Surabaya (MAS), Jawa Timur.
Menariknya, sapi kurban seberat 1,05 ton yang dibeli Jokowi dari peternak asal Lamongan, itu setiap tahunnya selalu menjuarai kontes kecantikan hewan. "Tiap tahun menang," kata Sawiyan, si pemilik sapi yang dibeli Jokowi saat mengantar sapinya ke MAS, Selasa (21/8).
Meski melepas sapi juara kesayangannya untuk dijadikan hewan kurban, pedagang asal Desa Takerharco, Kecamatan Solokuro, Lamongan ini mengaku tetap bangga. Sebab yang membeli sapinya itu adalah Presiden.
Bahkan saking senangnya, Sawiyan juga mengaku rela sapinya dibeli dengan harga sangat murah, Rp 56 juta. Padahal, harga pasaran sapi jenis PO miliknya itu seharga antara Rp 80-90 juta. "Saya jual murah karena yang beli Pak Jokowi. Senang saja soalnya. Seneng banget," ungkapnya semringah.
Di tempat sama, Humas MAS, Helmy M Noor mengatakan, setiap tahun pada Hari Raya Kurban, Jokowi rutin berkurban di MAS selama menjabat sebagai presiden. "Sapi ini akan kami sembelih pada H+1 setelah Idul Adha, tepatnya hari Kamis," kata Helmy.
Helmy juga mengungkap, bukan hanya sapi kurban milik Jokowi yang diterima pihak MAS, tapi juga sapi kurban milik Gubernur Jawa Timur Soekarwo. "Ada juga dari Pak Wagub (Syaifullah Yusuf/Gus Ipul), juga dari jajaran Forkopimda," tanda Helmy.
