Seorang pria terpaksa pergi berlibur bersama mantan pacarnya. Kisahnya pun mencuri atensi dan jadi viral di Twitter. Seperti apa ceritanya?
Sean Young dan pacarnya memesan satu minggu tiket perjalanan ke Tenerife, sebuah pulau di Spanyol sekitar tiga bulan yang lalu setelah menjalni hubungan asmara selama sembilan bulan. Namun, ketika pasangan ini putus sekitar enam minggu yang lalu, mereka menyadari jika membatalkan liburannya, mereka hanya mendapatkan 10 persen dari yang dibayar.
"Kami putus karena hubungan ini tidak berjalan baik dan kami selalu berdebat serta menginginkan hal yang berbeda. Itu adalah keputusan bersama dan kami akan tetap berteman," ungkap Sean seperti dikutip dari Unilad.
Alih-alih membuang-buang uang, pria yang berasal dari Sunderland, Inggris memutuskan untuk pergi meskipun bersama mantan kekasihnya. Karena ingin tetap bersahabat, Sean dan mantan pacarnya merasa mereka masih bisa menikmati liburan bersama.
"Kami ingin membatalkannya tetapi hanya mendapat 10 persen dari apa yang kami bayarkan, jadi itu tidak layak. Kami kemudian berusaha mati-matian menjualnya kepada orang lain, tetapi mereka tak hanya mau membayarkan dalam jumlah yang sedikit. Karena kami tidak dapat menjualnya dan tidak akan mendapatkan apa-apa jika membatalkannya, kami pikir sebaiknya pergi saja ," jelasnya.
Pria berusia 21 tahun ini mengungkapkan hari pertama liburan bersama mantan pacarnya masih berjalan cukup lancar. Namun, beberapa hari kemudian liburannya bersama sang mantan menjadi penuh drama.
"Hari pertama dia terlalu banyak minum dan tak bisa berdiri. Saya harus membawanya kembali ke hotel setelah kami harus keluar dari taksi karena dia sakit, dan dia juga meninggalkan sepatunya di taksi. Hari berikutnya kami bertengkar hebat dan akhirnya keluar dengan terpisah, melakukan hal sendiri-sendiri sepanjang hari," imbuh Sean.
Sean pun kemudian memutuskan untuk berbagi pengalamannya di Twitter sebagai salah satu cara untuk menghibur dirinya sendiri. Cuitannya itu pun telah mendapatkan 55 ribu lebih suka.
