Pihak BPJS Kesehatan ternyata akan memberlakukan aturan terkait pembiayaan terhadap penyakit-penyakit tertentu. Hal ini merupakan salah satu upaya agar anggaran tidak lagi mengalami defisit. Sehingga ada 8 penyakit yang tidak lagi ditanggung BPJS kesehatan sepenuhnya, pasalnya penyakit-penyakit tersebut yang dinilai sangat menguras biaya.
Seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa tahun ini keuangan BPJS Kesehatan mengalami defisit anggaran mencapai 9 triliun Rupiah. Oleh karena itu munculah wacana untuk menghapus tanggungan terhadap 8 penyakit yang dinilai sangat menguras anggaran BPJS kesehatan.
8 Penyakit Yang Tidak Lagi Ditanggung BPJS kesehatan
BPJS kesehatan selaku Badan Kesehatan Nasional selalu mencari solusi untuk menghindari adanya defisit anggaran. Berikut ini beberapa penyakit yang dinilai sangat menguras kantong BPJS kesehatan :
- Penyakit jantung
- Penyakit kanker
- Penyakit Gagal Ginjal
- Penyakit Stroke
- Penyakit Thalasemia
- Penyakit Sirosis hati
- Penyakit Leukimia
- Penyakit Hemofilia
Dirut BPJS kesehatan, Fahmi Idris mengungkapkan bahwa pembiayaan untuk perawatan 8 penyakit tersebut sangat menguras anggaran BPJS kesehatan.
Berdasarkan data pada tahun 2016, total anggaran yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak BPJS Kesehatan untuk membiayai perawatan penyakit tersebut mencapai Rp 14,692 triliun atau sekitar 21,84% dari total pengeluaran biaya pelayanan kesehatan BPJS Kesehatan tahun 2016. Dengan rincian sebagai berikut :
- Penyakit Jantung > Rp 7,485 triliun
- Penyakit Kanker > Rp 2,35 triliun
- Penyakit Gagal Ginjal > Rp 2,592 triliun
- Penyakit Stroke > Rp 1,288 triliun
- Penyakit Thalasemia > Rp 485,193 miliar
- Penyakit Sirosis Hepatitis > Rp 232,958 miliar
- Penyakit Leukimia > Rp 183,295 miliar
- Penyakit Hemofilia > Rp 119,64 miliar
Penghapusan tanggungan tersebut tidak dilakukan sepenuhnya, artinya akan diberlakukan Cost Sharing atau biaya yang dibagi antara peserta dan pihak BPJS kesehatan.
Jadi nantinya untuk pembiayaan penyakit tersebut tidak lagi ditanggung BPJS kesehatan sepenuhnya, melainkan akan ada porsi yang dibebankan kepada peserta BPJS kesehatan. Namun porsi Cost Sharing tersebut belum diputuskan saat ini karena masih dalam tahap hitung-hitungan.
Sebagai catatan, pembebanan cost sharing ini hanya akan diberikan kepada peserta BPJS kesehatan dari golongan masyarakat mampu saja.
