Serang, – Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Republik Indonesia M. Hanif Dhakiri mencoba menjajal sepeda motor Listrik hasil tangan kreatif dari siswa Balai Besar Pengembangan Latihan Kerja (BBPLK) Serang, Kota Serang, Senin (2/04).
Namun patut disayangkan, Menteri Hanif tersebut menjajal motor listrik tidak menggunakan pelindung kepala (Helm).
Menurut Rudi Aktivis Pemerhati Lalu Lintas (PLL) Banten mengatakan dalam peraturan lalu lintas sudah dijelaskan bahwa bagi siapapun yang mengemudikan Sepeda Motor di wajibkan menggunakan helm.
“Seperti Pasal 106 ayat (8) UU No. 22/2009 mengatur bahwa Setiap orang yang mengemudikan Sepeda Motor dan Penumpang Sepeda Motor wajib mengenakan helm yang memenuhi standar nasional Indonesia,” kata Rudi saat dihubungi melalui sambungan telpon, Senin (2/04).
Bukan hanya suatu kewajiban saja, Helm juga tetapi menurut Rudi helm bisa digunakan sebagai pelindung kepala dalam berkendara agar terhindar dari benturan kepala.
“Dengan sebab agar mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga dengan melindungi kepala dalam berkendara jika terjadi suatu kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan kecederaan di kepala pengendara,” ujarnya.
Rudi menegaskan bahwa tidak ada alasan apapun,dari kacamata keselamatan berkendara, setiap orang berkendara sepeda motor wajib mengenakan helm untuk mengurangi potensi cedera fatal saat terjadi kecelakaan.
“Pokonya wajib setiap pengendara sepeda motor untuk menggunakan helm,” jelasnya.
Rudi juga menyangkan atas prilaku berkendara seorang Menteri Kabinet Jokowi-JK yang tidak mengindahkan peraturan lalu lintas.
“Karena hal tersebut bisa saja menjadi contoh banyak orang, estetika nya ga di pakai, padahal pihak Kepolisian selalu menerapkan wajib memakai helm bagi setiap pengendara, berarti tidak terkecuali Menteri dong. Padahal Presiden pun saat di Timika Papua terlihat menggunakan helm, kok ini seorang Menteri tidak!,” ujar Rudi.
Rudi pun berharap agar Menteri Ketenagakerjaan tersebur meminta maaf kepada masyarakat karena tidak mentaati peraturan lalu lintas dan tidak mengulangi hal serupa dikemudian hari.
“Ya pokoknya pak Hanif harus meminta maaf, karena ini peraturan, peraturan itu ya harus di jalankan dan dipakai, bukan untuk dilarang,” tutupnya dengan nada tegas [Lb/Ram]
