Menteri
Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Imam Nahrawi akan bertindak tegas dalam kasus
atlet pencak silat Malaysia, Jamari Mohd Al-Jufferi, yang merusak fasilitas
venue pencak silat, di Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, Senin (27/8). Imam akan memprosesnya secara
hukum.
"Silakan proses secara hukum. Itu adalah tindakan tidak
benar. Namanya pertandingan, ada menang ada kalah. Ketika timnas sepak bola kita diperlakukan tidak adil oleh wasit
itu, kita tidak melakukan perusakan tetap kita bertindak sportif," kata
Imam ketika ditemui awak media, di Venue Panahan, Senayan, Jakarta, Selasa
(28/8).
Jamari frustrasi ketika melakoni partai pencak silat nomor tarung
putra kelas E 65 kg-70 kg Asian Games 2018,
Senin kemarin. Dia yang bersua wakil Indonesia, Komang Harik Adi Putra,
memutuskan mundur saat pertandingan memasuki ronde ketiga.
Jamari mengklaim tak puas
dengan keputusan jajaran juror yang berat sebelah.
Setelah mundur, Jamari
meluapkan kekecewaannya dengan merusak dinding ruangan atlet di venue Pencak
Silat TMII. Banyak saksi yang di antaranya awak media Indonesia, melihat aksi
tak sportif tersebut.
Imam menyayangkan aksi
tidak sportif atlet negeri Jiran tersebut. Dia kemudian mengatakan akan
menjalin komunikasi dengan Menpora Malaysia, Syed Saddiq, untuk membahas
persoalan itu lebih lanjut.
"Nanti dulu, kabar
ini saja baru saya dengar hari ini. Namun, yang jelas saya sangat menyayangkan
peristiwa itu. Nanti saya akan menghubungi sahabat saya pak Saddiq untuk
menenangkan atletnya. Kami berikan keleluasaan kepada wasit dan juri untuk
menilai," tutup Menpora.
