Komunitas dunia maya TC Candler sudah mengeluarkan nama-nama yang masuk dalam nominasi 100 Wanita Tercantik di dunia tahun 2018 serta 100 Pria Tertampan 2018.
Di antara nama-nama tersebut, terdapat lima nama artis keturunan Indonesia yang kesemuanya wanita.
Namun sayangnya, tak ada pria asal Indonesia yang masuk ke dalam nominasi.
Lima nama tersebut adalah Agnes Monica (Agnez Mo), Kimberly Ryder, Chelsea Islan, Cinta Laura, serta Raisa Andriana

Hal ini diumumkan TC Candler melalui akun Instagram resminya (@tccandler) dalam waktu bertahap. Dari 100 nama tersebut, tokoh asal Amerika Serikat (AS) paling banyak menyumbangkan nama.
Tercatat ada 27 nama wanita tercantik yang masuk nominasi asal AS. Beberapa nama tersebut antara lain Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, dan masih banyak lagi.
Disusul Korea Selatan di tempat kedua yang paling banyak menyumbangkan nama.
Nama-nama artis asal Korea Selatan yang masuk dalam nominasi wanita tercantik 2018 didominasi para penyanyi (k-pop idol).
Beberapa nama tersebut antara lain Irene, Joy, Seulgi dari grup Red Velvet, Nayeon dan Jungyeon dari grup Twice, serta masih banyak yang lainnya. Britania Raya dan Rusia sama-sama duduk di tempat ketiga dengan menyumbangkan 11 nama.
Kemudian disusul Tiongkok dengan 10 nama, Jepang dan Australia tujuh nama, Prancis enam nama, Indonesia, Brasil dan Israel lima nama, Turki dan Filipina empat nama, Thailand, Swedia dan Meksiko tiga nama, Italia, Kanada, Jerman, Selandia Baru dan Iran dua nama.
Terakhir ada Romania, Ceko, Pakistan, Serbia, Palestina, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, Hongkong, Hungaria, Afrika Selatan, Norwegia, Ghana, Kenya, Portugal, Lebanon, serta Kuba yang menyumbangkan masing-masing satu nama. Warganet bisa berpastisipasi untuk mem-voting idolanya masing-masing.
Caranya adalah dengan masuk ke channel Youtube TC Candler, kemudian cari video yang berisi nominasi tersebut. Jika video sudah ditemukan, warganet hanya perlu menuliskan nama idola di kolom komentar.
