Metode dakwah KH Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman atau yang akrab disapa Gus Miftah menuai pro dan kontra. Pemicunya, Gus Miftah memilih berdakwah di dunia remang-remang, meskipun faktanya pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Ora Aji, Sleman, Yogyakarta itu juga kerap mengisi kajian di instansi pemerintahan dan TNI/Polri.
Seorang gadis pekerja klub malam Boshe VVIP Club Yogya, Gaby (21) turut bereaksi atas polemik dakwah Gus Miftah. Gaby yang menjadi 'santri' Gus Miftah selama 2 tahun terakhir ini mengaku sedih dan tak bisa menahan tangis saat berkomentar tentang polemik itu.
"Sempat syok, dakwah Gus Miftah di klub malam jadi viral, syok dengan komen-komen itu, dibilang acara tidak pantas," kata Gaby yang tak kuasa menahan air mata ketika ditemui seusai acara kajian rutin Gus Miftah di Boshe Yogya, Kamis (13/9/2018).
"Ya sempat sedih, kemarin lihat ada kabar kayak gitu, pengajian di tempat hiburan malam, apa salahnya coba," ucapnya Gaby yang kerja di Boshe Yogya sejak tahun 2016.
Gaby mengaku awalnya dia juga kaget mendengar ada kajian agama rutin yang digelar oleh manajemen Boshe. "Awalnya sempat bertanya-tanya, ada ya tempat hiburan malam ada kegiatan rutin kajian agama, ternyata ada," tuturnya.
Gaby pun berharap kajian Gus Miftah bisa terus digelar di Boshe. Menurutnya, cara dakwah Gus Miftah cocok bagi dia dan teman kerjanya.
Dan meski saat ini menggantungkan penghasilan dari kerja di Boshe, Gaby berharap suatu saat nanti bisa menemukan perubahan bagi hidupnya.
"Saya harap masyarakat jangan pandang sebelah mata meski kita kerja malam, ini kan juga bukan keinginan kita. Untuk sementara ini belum tahu ke depan gimana (lanjut kerja atau berhenti), yang terpenting kita bisa berkesempatan mendapatkan siraman rohani," imbuhnya.
"Karena kita butuh kajian agama juga, ingin dapat pencerahan. Kan kita kerjanya malam, siang kita istirahat, jadi jarang dapat siraman rohani," pungkasnya.
